Storytelling for young and old alike

“A storyteller for the 21st century” The Times

Graham has been a professional storyteller since 1992, though he first told stories at the Grey Cock Folk Club in Birmingham way back in 1970. He was a Drama teacher for 20 years but ill-health forced him out of teaching and he stumbled into storytelling. His storytelling has taken him to far-flung places around the world from Palestine to Peru; telling stories and teaching the art of storytelling. He now lives in Birmingham where he is Artistic Director of The Trad Arts Team and leads their Storytelling Gymnasium training storytellers. He is one of the Café Crew at Birmingham Storytelling Café which he started with Katrice Horsley in 1998. He is also one of the Three Voices in Barton on Humber. He tells stories in Children’s Hospitals with Read for Good. He was the inaugural storyteller with Dream On storytelling tours in South America.
